Feasibility Studies
What is a Feasibility Study?
A feasibility study is an analysis that examines the practicality and potential success of a proposed project or system. It assesses various aspects, including economic, technical, legal, and scheduling considerations, to determine whether the project is viable and worth pursuing. This comprehensive evaluation helps decision-makers understand the benefits, risks, and resource requirements associated with the project.
Why should you get one?
- To make informed decisions that lead to significant long-term benefits, both financially and environmentally.
- To determine whether any projects are viable and worth pursuing.
- To take advantage of BC Hydro and Clean BC’s programs to get up to $30,000 towards a feasibility study for your building.
Funding to create an in-depth plan for your project
A feasibility study is completed by a consultant who’s a member of the Alliance of Energy Professionals. They analyze the options, costs, impact, and savings of retrofitting a specific system at your building. The output of the study allows you to form a business case to make your decision.
Funding for 100% of study costs is available, up to a maximum of $30,000. Funding doesn’t cover tax.
